Brigitte Bais and Jarik Stoutjesdijk receive ZonMw Young Investigator Award

Congratulations to Brigitte Bais (ExoVectory & Leiden University Medical Center) and Jarik Stoutjesdijk (UMC Utrecht) for receiving the ZonMw Young Investigator Award at the annual conference of the Netherlands Society of Gene and Cell Therapy NVGCT.

They pitched their plan on a PoC study to develop a next-generation enabling tool for (PRIME) CRISPR-Cas genome editing. This involves the Virus Like Particle technology of ExoVectory to enable ultra-large DNA cargo delivery, as well as high-potential small RNA loading technology from UMCU, Sander Kooijmans lab.
