ExoVectory joins EVolve-PLN to develop a treatment for PLN cardiomyopathy

We are very much pleased to be part of the EVolve-PLN project, a collaboration with PLaN Therapeutics and QVQ Holding BV, to develop a novel treatment for PLN cardiomyopathy.

In this project we will further extend the development pipeline for our ExoVec exosome delivery tool, by creating unique variants that express VHH antibodies in diseased heart cells.

The VHHs are designed to bind to, and subsequently destroy, the pathologic misfolded proteins, thereby restoring normal function of the heart cells.

Together, we aim to establish an important proof-of-concept for treatment of PLN heart disease — and pave the way for broader applications of the platform.
